The cooks of today are usually very busy. APRICOT PORK ROAST
1 (2 1/2 lb.) pork boneless, trimmed loin
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp freshly ground black pepper

1/2 tsp ground ginger
2-3 green onions, sliced

Sprinkle the roast with salt and pepper.

* If you do not have the oil, you can use canola oil.
SLOW COOKING POTATO, CARROT AND ONION BRAISED
2 tbsp butter
canola oil 1 tbsp
1 large onion, cut into wedges
3 lb rump roast
3 carrots, peeled and sliced
3 medium russet apples, cut into large cubes
2 Bay leaves
1/2 tsp salt
1 dry onion soup box mix (two packs)
3 cups boiling water
1 tbsp corn starch
Melt butter in oil in a large skillet. Add the onion corners and roast. Brown beef on all sides. Transfer the beef and onion in the crock pot.
Organize potatoes, carrots, and leaves of Bay around the roast. Sprinkle salt on all.
In a heat resistant Bowl, combine the onion with the boiling soup mix. Stir until smooth. Pour on the meat and vegetables in the crock pot. Cooker cover and microwave on high 3 1/2 to 4 hours.
In a saucepan, mix the starch of corn and 1 teaspoon tea water. mix to form a paste. Add 2 cups of hot liquid of the crock pot and bring to a boil, stirring, until sauce is thickened. Serve the roast with vegetables and sauce.
Note: Replace by onion soup mix, if desired onion soup mix.
