Most people know the crock for fixing dinner, but have you ever considered using your slow cooker to create delicious desserts? Yes, read you correctly, dessert crockpot recipes. They are as easy as making a pot of soup with chicken, only sweeter nice!


Slow cookers are just the ticket for people who want a great dessert but who lack the time or patience to see through the old fashioned way.


There are a few tips to keep in mind when you cook with a slow cooker. Use the insertion of cooking that came with your stove. If yours is not comes with one that you can either buy an insertion or use that 2 pounds coffee can or a metal mould of good size.


Make sure the insertion of grease or can raise the insert or can either with a rack of cooking crock or collapse to a piece of aluminum foil and put on the bottom of the pot, so the insertion is triggered, allowing air to circulate.

Banana bread


1 3/4 cup flour
2 tsp baking powder
baking soda 1/4 TSP
1/2 teaspoon salt
shortening of 1/3 cup
2/3 cup granulated sugar
2 Eggs, well beaten
1 1/2 cup well mashed over bananas ripe (2 or 3 bananas)
1/2 cup coarsely chopped walnuts


Sift together the flour, the baking powder, baking soda and salt. To using low-speed electric mixer, combine shortening in small bowl, up to this that creamy. Gradually add the sugar. Slowly beat in the eggs. Use a fork to mix in 1/3 of the mixture of flour, 1/2 banana an another 1/3 of the flour mixture, the other bananas, followed by the rest of the flour mixture. Add nuts and put in an insert in greased and floured oven or a 2 1/2-quart mould and coverage. Place on the grid in the crock pot. Coverage and prop open the lid a little with a wooden spoon so that the steam can escape. Cook on high definition for 4 to 6 hours.


Easy bread pudding


2 Eggs, slightly beaten
2 1/4 cup milk
1 teaspoon vanilla
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon salt
2 cups 1-inch bread cubes
1/2 cup brown sugar
grapes dry 1/2 cup


A mixture of size medium bowl, combine the eggs with the milk, vanilla, cinnamon, salt, bread, sugar and raisins. Pour into a 1 1/2-quart baking dish. Formatted in a ring to keep the dish from the bottom of the jar at the bottom of the pot with foil. Add 1/2 cup of hot water and place the baking dish on top of foil. Cover and cook the during about 2 hours.
